Xactimate Estimator

Thanks for taking a look at our post! We are a new and growing construction company in Denver and Montana, looking for estimators that are deeply familiar with Xactimate, Symbility, and other insurance estimating software. We are partial to former insurance adjusters and individuals that understand how to communicate with insurance companies and defend their estimates. Ideal candidates will also grasp things such as the difference between line items and bid items, and the percentage of O/P that can be added onto a bid item (20%). It is also a big plus if you have your own subscription to Xactimate already, but we are willing to provide.

Pay structure is commission based and it currently works out to 8.5% of the value of each job estimated, signed, and secured. Within 6 months we anticipate raising this so that it works out to 10% of the value of each job estimated, signed, and secured. There is also an opportunity to earn an additional 5% per lead generated, signed, and secured as well. D

***Jobs will be provided for estimating work, so lead generation isn’t necessary if candidates aren’t interested in prospecting, but we give the option to do so for added income.

This position would also require some travel to customer homes, to take measurements and gather photos as well. There may be times where checks need to be picked up, and supplementation or adjustments might be required too with insurance companies. Great customer service skills are also highly desirable and necessary. Another sought after trait in our estimators, is the ability to do out-of-pocket estimates as well.

– Experience as an adjuster within the insurance industry

– A willingness to push back on insurance companies and adjusters and defend estimates

– Licensing and credentials are a big plus
